Adnan Bashir is a Research Fellow at the Labor & Worklife Program at Harvard Law School. A Ph.D candidate in Economics at the National University of Sciences and Technology of Pakistan, he pursues research interests mainly in labor economics and on the returns of higher education. His Ph.D. research focuses on the “Returns to Research and Higher Education: A case study of Pakistan.” He holds his M.Phil. degree in Economics, and his research area was “Dynamics of Poverty and Economic Shocks.” He has been working as a Visiting Faculty Member at the National University of Sciences and Technology, National University of Modern Languages, and National Defence University, where he leads the courses of Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and Engineering Economics.
