Revised Guidance: Budgeting HUIDC for Multiple Subawards

On June 6, 2022, the Harvard Chan School shared the Budgeting HUIDC for Multiple Subawards Procedure, which stated that “F&A will no longer be taken on multiple subs to the same institution/PI combination on the same sponsored competing segment.” After further review, it has been confirmed that a subagreement will be issued for and HUIDC collected on each separate Scope of Work (not by PI or institution) on an award per competing segment.

Emma Rothschild Wins Leo Gershoy Award

Faculty Associate Emma Rothschild, Jeremy and Jane Knowles Professor of History at Harvard University, is the recipient of the 2022 Leo Gershoy Award for her recent book, An Infinite History: The Story of a Family in France over Three Centuries (Princeton University Press, 2021). The prize, distributed by the American Historical Association, is awarded annually to the author of the most outstanding work published in English on any aspect of the fields of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century western European history.
