The HMPA community has been significantly impacted by the tremendous changes brought by 2020. To varying extents, the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, visa/ international travel restrictions, and social justice movement have affected our physical and mental health, as well as the flow of our work lives. In unprecedented times like these, we need the collective mind of our community to best advocate for the health and well-being of postdocs. Therefore, the HMPA Advocacy Committee invites you to make your voice heard by participating in a 15 minute anonymous survey covering topics like the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter, and your general work environment. Please select a survey link based on your primary affiliation (HMS/HSDM OR other institution, hospital, etc.) so we can best meet your needs. We appreciate your contribution in helping make our community a place where everyone can thrive. As a thank you, we will randomly select 5 survey participants from a raffle to receive a $10 gift card towards a local business. Upon completion of the survey, you will be directed to a separate page asking for your email address to enter the raffle. This separate page is to ensure confidentiality of your survey responses. Depending on the success of this survey, HMPA and the HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows will consider a follow-up and/or more comprehensive survey in the spring.
