Release Notes

The May 2022 GMAS release will be available as of the start of business on Thursday, May 5th 2022. The focus of this release includes enhancements to support displaying preferred names in GMAS. Additional enhancements include updates to the GMAS person feed and tracking if proposals included subrecipients, as well as bug fixes.

 

Enhancements

 

Subrecipient

  • Creating an Initial Proposal or Competing Renewal will now ask “Are subrecipients included in the proposal?”
  • Added a new required action on Initial proposal/ Competing renewal when subrecipient question is answered “Yes”.
  • Added subrecipient question to the edit proposal information screen.
  • Proposal information panel will now display the response to the new subrecipient question. 

Preferred Name

  • GMAS will now display a person’s preferred name.
  • Person searches can now look up preferred name or official name.
  • Person profile page will display preferred and official name.

Person Feed

  • Updated Person API view to continue including affiliation information for active people without active roles.
  • GMAS will now process appointment end date from IDM.

Other

  • Continuations and Supplements can only be created once the research team has been confirmed.
  • Moved the location of comments from the bubble icon in the upper right corner of the screen to a new panel on Cost sharing, International Collaboration, Edit research team, and Confirm research team requests
  • Persons with additional payroll costing can be added via Confirm/Edit research team requests.
  • Updated the GMAS footer privacy statement.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where other requests were updating cost sharing approval status to “Needed”.
  • Fixed an issue where saving information on the requirement screen would navigate you to another request home page.
  • Fixed the speed when expanding and collapsing information on the International Collaboration & Activity form.
  • Fixed a bug where individuals with access to the "Outside foreign contacts and agreements" repository could remove categories from documents.
