One Fair Wage Book CoverIn her new book, One Fair Wage: Ending the Subminimum Pay in America, Saru Jayaraman shines a light on tipped workers illustrating how the people left out of the fight for a fair minimum wage are society's most marginalized: people of color, many of them immigrants; women, who form the majority of the tipped workers; disabled workers; incarcerated workers and youth workers. These workers epitomize the direction of our whole economy, reflecting the precariousness and instability that is increasingly the lot of American labor.

Join us for a conversation on the fight for One Fair Wage. Panelists include Benjamin Sachs, Kestnbaum Professor of Labor and Industry at HLS, Emma Scott, Clinical Instructor of the Food Law and Policy Clinic, and Saru Jayaraman, President and Co-Founder, One Fair Wage.
